Willow’s Raw Brownie Balls


2.5 cups pitted dates

2 cups raw pecans or cashews or walnuts

3 tablespoons raw cacao14161061799730

2 tablespoons (approx) water if needed


Place the first three ingredients into a food processor and process until fairly smooth.  It will resemble chocolate-coloured breadcrumbs.  If too dry, add a little water, or to flavour you can add some coconut essence or peppermint essence for a Christmas themed brownie ball.  Roll teaspoonfuls into balls and place in the fridge to chill.

Makes approximately 35 brownies and each is about 95 calories.
